SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

SACAP is looking for a Senior Learning Technologist.

The Senior Learning Technologist will act as a specialist in supporting online and blended learning programmes through the implementation of learning technologies and AI tools. Plays a leading role in the implementation and day-to-day management of learning technology systems and tools, helping to ensure efficient and high-quality user
experiences.

The Senior Learning Technologist is responsible for working closely with the Learning Design team, the Academic Team and Student Administration to ensure that learning technologies support SACAP’s Teaching and Learning Strategy through appropriate
onboarding, support, and training.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:

1. Education/Curriculum/Learning & Teaching
2. Education/Instructional Design or Educational Technology
3. Information Systems/Computer Science with a strong learning/education focus

• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working with Learning Technologies in a Higher Education or similar academic environment.
•  Proficiency in one or more major LMS platforms such Moodle, Canvas, OpenEdx, Blackboard etc.

OPERATING HOURS:

  This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:

  Monday to Thursday:      08:30am to 17:00pm

  Friday:                           08:30am to 16:00pm
