SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online. 

SACAP is looking for an Academic Programme Developer. 

The Academic Programme Developer (APD) forms a part of the Institutional Academic Team and is accountable to the Senior Academic Programme Developer for the amendment and development of modules and related activities in the academic programmes, inclusive of qualifications, short courses and micro credentials, to ensure they continually embody high levels of academic quality and rigor as guided by the Senior Academic Programme Developer. The Academic Programme Developer will report to the Senior Academic Programme Developer. The APD role will directly support the role and function of the Senior Academic Programme Developer and the Head of Faculty.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of an Honours in psychology or relevant Master's degree in psychology
  • Relevant work experience in module/curriculum development.
  • A strong research background.

The role will report to the Senior Academic Programme Developer.

Operating Hours:

This position is a permanent with full-time hours operating from Mondays to Fridays as per the below hours*:
Mondays to Thursdays: 08:00am to 16:30pm
Fridays:                       08:00am to 16:00pm

*Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need to work flexible hours to the extent to which it is reasonably necessary to perform the duties of this position.
