SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

SACAP is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Learning and Teaching Coordinator to represent the Institutional Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Department. The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Learning and Teaching Coordinator will provide effective learning and teaching support for the WIL Department.

 

The individual will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing various administrative aspects and will be tasked with overseeing the contracting and invoicing processes for all WIL supervisors and educators. The WIL LTC will also function as a general liaison for the WIL educator and supervisor faculty. This position requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include:

  • Coordinate and support WIL supervisors, including communication, engagement, and wellness.
  • Monitor WIL supervisor performance and oversee supervision quality processes.
  • Manage WIL supervision timetables and term-by-term scheduling.
  • Act as liaison between WIL supervisors, faculty, and internal stakeholders on academic and administrative matters.
  • Manage supervisor contracts, MOUs, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Oversee WIL administrative tasks and ensure effective programme coordination

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
:
  • A minimum of an undergraduate diploma/degree, preferably in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of academic administration/coordination experience, preferably within Higher Education in South Africa
  • Technologically savvy
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly developed relationship-building/ interpersonal skills
  • Strong digital literacy skills
  • A passion for higher education and blended learning
  • Excellent time management

This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:
•Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
•Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
