SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online. 

SACAP is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager based at our Head Office. This is a permanent position.

The main purpose of the Project Manager position is to assume responsibility for the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring & controlling and closure of Technology Services projects at the South African College of Applied Psychology to enable and support the Colleges’ strategic objectives. 


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A Bachelor’s level degree, preferably in Information Systems or Business Studies, or equivalent NQF-7 qualification, or similar NQF-6 qualification with at least 6 years’ relevant IT Project Management experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
• A post-graduate diploma or formal certification in project management (at practitioner level) is highly desirable.
• At least 6 years of relevant IT project management experience in an Enterprise (large/complex) IT environment;
• At least 6 years’ experience of successfully managing the initiation, planning, design, execution, control and closure of ICT projects with budgets of at least R2m.
• A proven track record of managing both hardware/infrastructure and systems-related projects
• At least 6 years’ experience in managing teams of at least 5 people.

Operating Hours:

This position is a permanent with full-time hours operating from Mondays to Fridays as per the below hours*:
Mondays to Thursdays: 08:00am to 17:00pm
Fridays:                       08:00am to 16:00pm
